Elizabeth Hadley   

Nacida en la Ciudad de Mexico, emigrando al Caribe Mexicano desde adolescente y más tarde viviendo cerca de las Montañas Blue Ridge de Carolina del Norte, el mar y la naturaleza inspiran mi trabajo y mi vida. He pintado desde niña, participando en talleres y clases a través de los años, pero solo recientemente,  ya viviendo en la bella Mérida con mi esposo, me dedico a pintar de tiempo completo. Sabiendo que todo evoluciona y que nada es permanente, trato de capturar una sensación, un lugar mágico, un momento especial. Al mismo tiempo, abrazo el cambio y experimento con técnicas, temas, texturas y colores. Como diseñadora de interiores, pienso en cómo el resultado final podrá integrarse a un espacio y transmitir o provocar sensaciones a quien contempla mis cuadros.

Born in Mexico City, emigrating to the Mexican Caribbean as a teenager and later living near the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, the sea and nature inspire my work and my life. I've been painting since I was a child, participating in workshops and classes over the years, but only recently, now living in beautiful Mérida with my husband, have I dedicated myself to painting full-time. Knowing that everything evolves and nothing is permanent, I try to capture a feeling, a magical place, a special moment. At the same time, I embrace change and experiment with techniques, themes, textures, and colors. As an interior designer, I think about how the final result will integrate into a space and convey or evoke feelings in those that view my paintings.
